The reason we work end to end rather than just selling boxes is that most of what goes wrong with an LED screen is not the panel. It is a pixel pitch chosen for the wrong viewing distance, a brightness spec that cannot cope with the ambient light, a mounting structure that was never checked, or a control system nobody was trained on. Those are all decisions made before the panel is ordered.

Our facility is in Kawasan Perindustrian Cheras Jaya, Balakong, Selangor, which puts us within easy reach of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and the wider Klang Valley. Indoor LED Panels: P1.2 to P2.5
Available in P1.2, P1.53, P1.86 and P2.5 pixel pitch, in SMD, GOB and COB construction. The smaller the pitch, the closer a viewer can stand before the individual LEDs become visible. Lobbies, boardrooms, control rooms, retail interiors, showrooms and stages.

Outdoor LED Panels: P3 to P10
Available in P3, P5, P8 and P10, built for weather resistance and the brightness needed to hold an image in direct Malaysian sun. Building facades, digital billboards, forecourts, stadiums and outdoor stages. Viewing distance is longer outdoors, which is why a larger pitch is usually the correct and far more economical specification rather than a compromise.

An LED screen panel is a self-contained display unit built from LED modules mounted in a frame, designed to be joined with other panels to form a screen of any size. This is what separates LED from a television or monitor, which comes in a fixed size and cannot be extended. Because the surface is built rather than bought whole, an LED screen can be made to fit the wall instead of the wall being chosen to fit the screen.
LED panels are typically rated for 50,000 to 100,000 hours of operation, which at twelve hours a day is roughly eleven to twenty-two years. Real lifespan depends heavily on LED quality, how hard the screen is driven, heat, humidity and whether it is maintained. Brightness degrades gradually rather than failing outright.
They are three parts of the same thing, and the words are often used loosely, which causes confusion when comparing quotations. An LED module is the smallest replaceable unit: a circuit board carrying the LEDs in a fixed grid. A cabinet is the frame that holds several modules, provides the power and data connections, and keeps the surface flat. A panel usually means a complete cabinet ready to install, though some suppliers use it to mean the module. When you receive a quotation, check which unit the price refers to, because a price per module and a price per cabinet are very different numbers.

The only distinction worth watching is between a direct-view LED panel, where the LEDs form the image, and an LED-backlit LCD panel, where LEDs light a liquid crystal screen behind them. Those are genuinely different products despite similar names.
Because the screen is built from repeating units, its final dimensions are always a multiple of the cabinet size rather than any figure you choose. Cabinets are commonly 500 × 500mm or 500 × 1000mm, so a wall built from them steps up in half-metre increments.

This catches people out. A request for a five-metre screen usually results in a 5.0m or 5.5m screen depending on the cabinet, not a screen cut to five metres exactly. It is worth knowing before you plan the space around it, and it is one of the first things we confirm during a site survey.
