Outdoor LED Screen Malaysia
A digital standee is a standing digital signage display: a freestanding screen in a slim, upright body with a built-in media player. Ours is available in two models: DS-D6043UL-B/S and DS-D6055UL-B/S. We also supply other models. For enquiries about other models, please feel free to contact us.
The body is metallic with an integrative design, and the front is high-transmittance tempered glass, which protects the screen surface in a public position while letting the image through.
The Display
The panel resolution is 3840 × 2160 with a pixel pitch of 0.2451 mm, across an active display area of 941.184 mm by 529.416 mm. Pixel pitch at this scale is the distance between adjacent pixels, so a smaller figure means the image holds together at close range, which is where a standee is read.
Brightness is 500 cd/m² and contrast ratio is 5000:1. Colour gamut is 72% NTSC with 8 bit plus FRC colour depth, and the panel is driven by a D-LED backlight.
Viewing angle is 178° horizontally and 178° vertically, so the image holds from almost any position in front of the screen rather than only from directly ahead.
Response time is 6.5 ms at a 60 Hz refresh rate.
Reliability is rated at 7 × 24 H, meaning the panel is specified for operation twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
The interface is industrial A+ grade, with an auto-colouring and image-enhancing engine.
Built-in Android System
The screen has a media player built in, so it does not need an external device to run content. It runs Android 8.1.0 on a quad-core Cortex-A17 processor at 1.6 GHz, with 2 GB of memory and 16 GB of eMMC storage for content held on the unit itself.
Scheduling and Display Layout
Programmes can be scheduled freely, and the system supports district display of multiple materials, which means the screen area can be divided into separate regions each showing different material at the same time rather than one item at a time.
Multiple play modes are available, with customisation supported.
Specifications
What the Screen Can Display
The system handles both static and dynamic material:
| Pictures | Audio |
| Video | Scrolling subtitle |
| Webpage | |
| Live video | Number calling |
| Pop-up pictures |
Supported file formats: DAT, MPG, VOB, TS, AVI, MKV, MP4, MOV, 3GP, FLV, WEBM, ASF, MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, OGA, FLAC, ACC, M4A, XMF, MXMF, RTTTL, RTX, OTA, IMY, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG.
Two of these are worth drawing out. Webpage means the screen can display a live web page rather than only a stored file. Number calling means the system can display called numbers on screen.
Centralised Management
One or more screens can be controlled and managed remotely. The management functions are:
– Timed startup and shutdown
– Quick startup and shutdown
– Timed brightness and volume adjustment
– Screenshot preview, so the current screen content can be checked remotely
Content is released to screens remotely, and can also be updated locally by USB.
Digital Standee Applications
A standing digital signage display suits any position where information changes and people pass close to the screen. The specification supports several distinct uses.
