Transparent LED Screen

Transparent LED Screen

A transparent LED screen is a display built from thin LED strips spaced far enough apart that you can see straight through the gaps. Mounted against a shop window or a glass curtain wall, it turns the glass into a moving display while the daylight still comes through and people can still see in and out. Solid LED screens block the window completely, which is why retailers who try them usually end up with a boarded-up shopfront and a darker interior.

How Much Can We See Through?

Transparency is measured as a percentage of light passing through. Our transparent LED display offers up to 60% to 90% transparency, depending on the selected model and pixel pitch. The trade-off is straightforward: higher transparency means a more open view and a lower brightness ceiling, while lower transparency means a denser, brighter image and more obstruction. Which one is right depends on whether the window matters more than the picture, and that is usually a decision the tenant and the landlord need to make together.

How It Installs Onto Existing Glass

The question we are asked most often is whether the glass has to come out. It does not. The screen mounts to the inside face of your existing glazing, typically hung from a track at the head of the opening or fixed to the existing mullions, so the facade itself is untouched.

Product Features

Our product features are designed to provide exceptional performance, reliability, and ease of use, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards for various applications.

Fast Installation and Maintenance

The integrated design combines the module, power supply and receiving card into a single unit, so installation is a matter of mounting and connecting rather than assembling on site. Maintenance is done from the front through a plug-type back cover, which means a faulty unit can be swapped without dismantling the screen or accessing it from behind. On a shopfront installation with a wall directly behind the glass, that is often the difference between a serviceable screen and one that cannot be repaired in place.

High Transparency and Wind Resistance

The open structure that lets light through also lets air through, which is what allows these screens to be installed on exposed facades and in atria without the wind loading that a solid screen would generate.

Hanging Bar

The hanging bar system supports the screen from above rather than requiring a floor-mounted frame, so the installation stays clear of the floor and the shopfront remains usable. It also makes the screen straightforward to remove and relocate, which suits short-lease retail units.

Quick Installation Lock

Cabinets connect with a quick-lock mechanism rather than bolted fixings, so panels align accurately and the installation goes up faster. Faster installation matters more on this product than on most, because shopfront and facade work usually has to happen outside trading hours.

Transparent LED Screen FAQs

A transparent LED screen is a display built from thin LED strips spaced far enough apart to see through. Mounted against glass, it shows moving content while daylight still passes through and the view is largely preserved. It is used where a solid screen would block a window, such as shopfronts, glass curtain walls and showroom windows.
No. The screen mounts to the inside face of your existing glazing, usually hung from a track or fixed to the existing mullions, so the facade is not altered. This matters for tenanted retail units where changes to the shopfront need landlord approval.
Our transparent LED display offers up to 60% to 90% transparency, depending on the selected model and pixel pitch. Higher transparency gives a more open view with a lower brightness ceiling. Lower transparency gives a denser, brighter image with more obstruction.
The published lifespan is 100,000 hours, which is roughly 22 years at twelve hours a day. Real lifespan depends on how hard the screen is driven, heat and humidity, and whether it is maintained. Brightness degrades gradually rather than failing outright.
They are the same product. "Transparent LED wall" usually describes a larger installation covering a full facade or curtain wall, while "transparent LED screen" tends to describe a single window or shopfront. The technology is identical and both are built from the same cabinets.
